Global Forum Presence: UNESCO, IFCU, IAU, UNAI, Vatican
Establishes a standing IALU presence and voice in the leading global arenas for higher education: UNESCO, the International Federation of Catholic Universities, the International Association of Universities, the United Nations Academic Impact and the Holy See. By 2028, IALU aims to be a recognized interlocutor in these fora.
How to take part: Contribute to delegations and position papers, host or co-host events, and connect your institution’s existing relationships in these arenas to the Association.
Ethical AI Position Paper and AI & Humanity Agenda
Develops IALU’s collective position on the ethical use of artificial intelligence in higher education and drives a continuing AI & Humanity agenda of debate, publication and formation. The first deliverable is a position paper prepared by a dedicated task force; the agenda then carries the theme forward through events and publications to 2028.
How to take part: Contribute experts to the task force, pilot the recommendations, and host activities of the agenda.

Intercongregational Dialogue
Opens structured collaboration with the university networks of other congregations, beginning with the Jesuit and Marist networks: shared reflection, joint advocacy on common causes, and exchange of good practice in mission-driven higher education.
How to take part: Take part in joint activities and, if your institution already has intercongregational relationships, help to convene them.
Brand & Communication Plan
Builds one shared IALU brand and a common editorial cadence across the website, social channels and storytelling pipeline, so that the work of the network becomes visible as one coordinated whole.
How to take part: Feed institutional news and stories into the pipeline and apply the shared brand in IALU-related communication.
Publications & Thought Leadership
Creates the publication line through which IALU speaks with authority: reports, papers and thought pieces that carry the Lasallian perspective on the future of higher education.
How to take part: Author or co-author, contribute data and cases, and review drafts.
