Lasallian Dialogue on Racism: A Global Pandemic took place on September 24th bringing together 40 countries with 841 live participants, and reaching to a registered audience of 1,273 participants.
Brother Ernest J. Miller, fsc, moderated the panel that gathered panelists from 4 corners of the globe Asia, Middle East, Central America and North America. Dr. Kristi J. Kelly, Chief Diversity Officer and Director of Multicultural Student Services at Lewis University, in Romeoville, Illinois, near Chicago; Brother Armin Luistro, FSC, PhD, is the Brother Visitor-Provincial of the Lasallian East Asia District (LEAD); Dr. Jamil Khader, Professor of English and Dean of Research at Bethlehem University; and Brother Francisco Pérez, FSC, Director of Liceo La Salle, Chiquimula – Guatemala.
The conversation about Racism in the global context after today has become an invitation and a commitment for Lasallians to act towards change, together as a diverse and inclusive community that seeks justice and peace.
